DS public use structures can be seen in many parks, and developments around the country. We design and fabricate customised as well as standard products to suit any urban environment.
We believe our kit form structures are the sturdiest available for public use. Each component has been carefully designed taking into account how they interact with every other part of the structure.
Each kit form structure comes with Building Approval Drawings and Third Party Engineering Certification (Form 15) and backed by our 10 year warranty.
Who we work with
We work closely with Landscape Architects and Consulting Engineers from the early stages of a project to design and specify products that suit the aesthetic and structural needs of the client.
Our main clients are Government Authorities, Ports Authorities and Developers however we do provide unique designs for specific projects. The Range
Including Shade and Picnic Shelters, Pedestrian and Cycle Bridges, Boardwalks, Viewing Platforms and Public Restrooms.
DS have some 150 standard picnic shelter and BBQ shelter designs and sizes.
Roof styles for our standard picnic shelters include hip, gable, skillion, curved , 6 sided gazebo and 4 sided pyramid shelters.
Each picnic shelter is available with steel posts or our special design timber leaf post.
DS design and manufacture various styles of bridges, boardwalks, viewing platforms and stairs to suit various applications including marine environments, maintenance vehicles, flood loads, golf carts, bicycle ways and disabled access.
Handrailing and finishing options are available to meet your specific site and aesthetic requirements.
DS offer kit form restrooms to suit all sorts of locations from urban surrounds, roadside truck stops and marine environments.
We have buildings for sewer and septic connection, Clivus, Hybrid, Biolytix or any other on-site waste management system, so even if the site doesn’t have power or a regular water supply, we can help.
